Generally speaking, in 2–3 months, I expect my clients to have made noticeable changes. But the timeline really depends on several factors:

• Your starting point: If your accent is very strong, changes are often faster and easier to notice. If your accent is already subtle, improvements take longer because we’re working on fine details. (See this video for more explanation, or book a free discovery call to discuss your case!)

• Type of coaching: Accent training clients get in-between session support, feedback, and exercises — which usually speeds up results compared to conversation-only clients. Also, there is less pronunciation and accent correction for my conversation clients.

• Practice habits: Progress depends heavily on what you do outside of sessions. Clients who consistently practice between meetings notice bigger and faster results than those who don’t.

It depends!

• If you have a thick accent or make a lot of obvious English mistakes, my Conversation + Feedback sessions will help you with pronunciation. At the end of each session, I give you feedback on the biggest pronunciation and English mistakes I hear.

• If you already have fairly good pronunciation and want to get serious about undoing old “incorrect” habits to develop more of an American accent, then Accent Training is probably the best fit.

Not at all. The goal isn’t to erase your accent, but to help you sound clear, natural, and confident. You’ll still sound like you, just with smoother pronunciation, better rhythm, and fewer habits that make your speech sound “off.”

Not everyone has the goal of reducing their foreign accent, and that’s completely okay. If your main goal is to practice speaking fluently and get feedback on what sounds unnatural, then my Conversation + Feedback sessions are the better fit.

However, clients who choose Accent Training usually say things like:

• “I feel like my accent is holding me back at work, which makes people take me less seriously.”

• “I can speak English fluently, but I still feel different when I speak, and I want to sound more natural.”

• “People still look at me funny and need to concentrate when I speak, and I want to feel more like a native speaker when I talk.”

• $60 USD per 50-minute session (package of 4 sessions, to be used within 5 weeks)

• $50 USD per 50-minute session (package of 8 sessions, to be used within 9 weeks)

American Accent Training

• $100 USD per 50-minute session
  (Currently available only in structured programs, not pay-per-session. See program details below.)

• 12-Session Program – $960 (save 20%)
  12 × 50-minute Zoom sessions (must be scheduled weekly and used within 14 weeks)

• 6-Week Intensive – $600
  6 × 50-minute Zoom sessions (must be scheduled weekly and used within 8 weeks)
